K Fit is a fitness studio for women, by women, specializing in group fitness classes, small group fitness, and personal training.   More than that, we are about connecting women - connecting them to their health and well being, connecting them to each other and the community of K Fit, connecting them to their inner rock stars.

We are a no-judgment zone; a safe environment for women of all fitness levels to come together, supporting each other, having fun and making friends, all while working hard and getting healthy in both mind and body.  K Fit will motivate you to keep getting stronger and more confident in your abilities.

GROUP FITNESS

We offer a variety of group fitness classes - in the gym and virtually. Every day is something new - we believe in “never boring, always challenging” - crafted to be effective for the woman who is just getting into a fitness routine, returning to the fitness world after a break or injury, or for the woman who has a high fitness level that is looking to push herself. 

Be prepared to make friends and accountability partners at K Fit!  We work out for ourselves and for each other.  

SMALL GROUP TRAINING

Small Group Training sessions are perfect for wanting more individualized attention, but want to work out with some of your friends or family. Think personal training, but with one, two or three of your pals that want to workout together! These are NOT drop-in group classes - they are scheduled directly with your trainer to fit your schedule.

PERSONAL TRAINING

This is the place to go when you want a little bit more attention - small group training and personal training gives you focused, tailored, one-on-one or one-on-two or three attention.   Great for getting back into working out or for more advanced workouts.

CLASS SCHEDULE

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

We are currently offering a mix of in-gym group fitness classes and virtual classes. The schedule is being updated frequently so please check back here under “Book a Class”, or on MindBody for the latest offerings.

All of our classes utilize a variety of equipment, movements, formats, and intensity, and all of our coaches are personal trainers, so we're able to modify to your level.

 

The Spark

Start your week off with a spark.  Our cardio/strength workout is the perfect jump start.  We combine conditioning (building your lung capacity) with resistance (building your muscles.)

The Foundation

The Foundation is a "kinder" class for those recovering from injury, just getting back into an exercise routine, or for those who are looking to review the proper form for basic movements that we use in all of our classes.

The Power

This mid-week workout combines strength training with cardio blasts for the ultimate Power Hour. We will have fun using a variety of formats and equipment to challenge your muscles and your mind! Let's get STRONG!

Tabor Run, aka "The Happiest Hour"

We spend Wednesday mornings running on the volcano.  Whether you're a beginning runner or advanced, you'll increase your endurance with each incline.  No one is left behind, and no one is left unchallenged.

The Force

End your work week with the Force.  We flip our Monday workout around and focus on strength along with your cardio.

The Spitfire

We set up a fun variety of equipment including weights, balls, bells, boxes & more for an energizing mid-week full body workout guaranteed to rev up your metabolism and get your heart pumping!

Zoom Fusion

A little pilates, a little yoga, a little barre -- Abby Bliss White will inspire grace, balance, and a rock solid core.

The Wild Card

You never know what you're going to get with our Saturday Wild Card Workout - guaranteed to fuel your weekend with a wild energy burst.

Zoom Workouts

Take this online live class in the comfort of your own home! You will need to use the Zoom app or you can access it from any computer/laptop. These workouts use combination of body weight and weights, and incorporate strength training, core work and cardio. You'll also need a mat and your own music, if that's your jam!


***  It is important that you arrive 15 minutes prior to class time to foam roll.  If you don't have a foam roller, we have them at K Fit for you to use.  We foam roll before class to prevent injury, release tightness in the muscles, and increase range of motion, and we foam roll after class to decrease soreness and promote recovery.   Additionally, we have a 10-15 minute warm-up at the beginning of class to get our joints and muscles ready to work out.  Please, do not skip this important start to your workout. ***

Charity & Community

While we concentrate on self care, self love, and the love and encouragement of our K Fit friends, we also strive to put energy and care into our local community.  Each month we choose a (mostly) local group or charity to concentrate our efforts on.  Sometimes the bigger world calls out to us (with hurricanes, fires, and other disasters), but we stick closer to Portland for most of our efforts.  Check out our blog posts about past fundraising.
